Before you write — quick answers

Most questions get answered faster than email. Try these first.

I forgot my password / can't sign in

Use the magic-link option on the sign-in page (we'll email you a one-click sign-in link), or sign in with Google. We don't use passwords for most accounts. If you used Google originally, you must keep using Google — switching auth methods requires email verification.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Sign in → /account/billing → Cancel. Plan stays active through the period you already paid for. If you can't access billing for any reason, email hello@simplequizmaker.com from the address on your account.

I want a refund

Email hello@simplequizmaker.com from your account address within 14 days of charge. We process refunds within 3 business days. No reason required.

A quiz I generated has wrong / weird questions

Edit the question in the builder before publishing — every question is editable. If the model is consistently producing low-quality output for a specific subject, tell us at the contact form below; we use this to improve prompting.

Can I delete my account & all data?

Yes — settings → Account → Delete account. Removes your profile, quizzes, submissions, and billing record. Backups purge within 30 days per GDPR. Quiz takers who submitted to your quizzes will keep their own anonymous score history.

Press / partnership / sponsorship inquiry

Use the contact form with subject "Press" or "Partnership" — we route those separately and reply within 2-3 business days.

Is there a phone number / live chat?

Right now we're email-first. Email gets you a reply within 24 hours on business days, which is faster than most ed-tech tools' chat. Phone for enterprise / school district orders by request.

Security issue / vulnerability disclosure

Email security@simplequizmaker.com directly. We acknowledge within 24 hours and won't penalize good-faith research. Please don't use the public contact form for security disclosures.

What to expect after you write

We're a small team. There's no support tier where higher-paying customers get faster replies — everyone gets the same queue, in the order it comes in. Realistic timing:

  • · Same-day reply for sign-in issues, billing, refund requests sent before 5pm CET on weekdays.
  • · Within 24 hours for most product questions, feature requests, content corrections.
  • · 2-3 business days for press, partnership, school-district volume quotes (we want to give a careful answer, not a rushed one).
  • · 24 hours for security disclosures sent to security@simplequizmaker.com.
  • · Weekends — we respond Monday morning. We're not built on a 24/7 support model and prefer to keep it that way rather than over-promise.

If you don't hear back within 48 business hours, your email may have ended up in our spam folder. Try again from a different address or use the contact form on this page.

Where to file feature requests & bug reports

The contact form is fine for both, but if you want the request public-tracked (and to see whether others have asked for the same thing), email is still the way. We log feature requests in a spreadsheet and prioritize by frequency × impact. The most-requested items we've shipped in 2026 came from contact-form submissions in 2025: per-respondent analytics, YouTube transcript ingestion, dark mode, the “regenerate this question” button.

Bug reports are most actionable when they include: what you tried, what you expected, what happened, and (if relevant) the quiz ID or URL. Screenshots help.
