1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SimpleQuizMaker ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Use of the Service

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You may not:

• Upload content that infringes on intellectual property rights
• Use the Service to generate harmful, offensive, or misleading content
• Attempt to reverse engineer or hack the Service
• Share your account credentials with others
• Use automated bots to abuse the Service or API

3. Account Registration

You must create an account to access certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under it. You must provide accurate information during registration.

4. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of content you upload to the Service. By uploading content, you grant SimpleQuizMaker a limited, non-exclusive license to process that content solely to provide the Service (i.e., generate quizzes). We do not sell or share your content with third parties.

5. AI-Generated Content

Quizzes generated by our AI are provided as-is. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or educational validity of AI-generated content. Always review AI output before use in formal educational settings.

6. Plans, Billing & Cancellation

Free plan users are subject to the usage limits described on our Pricing page. Paid plans are subscriptions that renew automatically — monthly plans renew every month and annual plans renew every year — until you cancel. Current prices, billing periods and each plan's limits are listed on the Pricing page.

Payments on this website are processed by Creem, our payment processor; we never see or store your card details. Purchases made inside our iOS app are processed by Apple and billed to your Apple Account.

You can cancel at any time. For a subscription bought on this website, cancel from Billing in your account. For a subscription bought in the iOS app, cancel through your Apple Account subscription settings. There are no contracts and no cancellation fees.

When you cancel, you keep access to your paid plan until the end of the period you have already paid for — we do not cut access mid-period. After that your account moves to the free plan; it is not deleted, and your quizzes and flashcards stay with it.

Refunds: we offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on all paid plans. If you are not happy within 14 days of a charge, email hello@simplequizmaker.com from the address on your account and we will refund that charge in full. This is in addition to any refund rights you have under the law, which are not affected by these Terms. Refunds for purchases made in the iOS app are handled by Apple under their refund process.

We may change our prices with reasonable notice. A price change never applies retroactively to a period you have already paid for, and if you subscribed before a change you keep the plan you bought until you choose to change it.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms, without prior notice. You may delete your account at any time from Settings.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Your use of the Service is at your sole risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SimpleQuizMaker shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
