Why we built this

Most study tools ask you to read. That's fine when you're sitting at a desk with time to focus, but a lot of real study time happens somewhere else — a commute, a walk between classes, folding laundry with ten minutes before dinner. Text doesn't work well in those moments. Audio does.

We were careful about what audio is actually good for before building this. The research is pretty clear that reading beats listening for deep comprehension and long-term retention — an audio lesson is not a replacement for taking notes in class or working through practice problems. What audio is genuinely good for is a fast, low-friction *review* pass: a three-minute refresher on the core ideas of a topic you've already been taught, right before you test yourself on it. That's exactly how we built these — a short spoken recap, immediately followed by a real practice quiz, so the passive listening turns into active recall within minutes.

How it works

Open any lesson and you get three things: an audio player with the full explanation, a readable transcript underneath it (so you can skim instead of listen, or follow along with both), and a 10-question quiz scored instantly in your browser — no account, no signup, no waiting.
