Quiz Analytics

Once a quiz has been taken by more than a person or two, the individual answer sheets in your Inbox stop being the fastest way to see the big picture. Quiz Analytics summarizes performance across every response to a single quiz in one view.

Where to find it

Open a quiz you own and go to its analytics view to see aggregate performance across everyone who has taken it, rather than one response at a time.

What it's for

The purpose is spotting patterns you can act on: which questions the group as a whole struggled with, and how scores are distributed — that kind of view is what tells you a question was ambiguously worded versus genuinely testing something the group hasn't learned yet, a distinction a single answer sheet can't show you on its own.

Link to Sheets

From a quiz's results or analytics page, Link to Sheets gives you a live spreadsheet of every response without exporting by hand. Click Create link, then paste the formula it shows into any cell of a Google Sheet. The sheet fills with one row per response — name, score, total, percentage, time spent, completion time, and one column per question with the answer given — and Google refreshes it on its own, roughly once an hour. The CSV link behind the formula also works in Excel via Data → From Web.

Anyone who has that link can read the results, so treat it like the answer sheets themselves. Reset link invalidates the old address if it was shared by mistake, and Remove link switches the feed off entirely. Like CSV export, this needs the paid plan.

Analytics is a paid-plan feature; the free plan does not include it. If you're teaching a class and comparing performance across students, this is one of the clearest reasons to upgrade.
