Plans & Quotas

SimpleQuizMaker has two plans: a free plan with generous limits for occasional use, and a paid Student plan for regular, heavier use.

What's metered

Three things are metered per month and reset on a monthly cycle: quiz generations, AI Tutor messages, and Letter Wheel games. Everything else — taking quizzes, flashcards, the Review Queue, XP and badges — is unlimited on every plan, because those don't have a per-use AI cost behind them.

Free plan

• 5 quiz generations a month, up to 10 questions each
• 20 AI Tutor messages a month
• 3 Letter Wheel games a month
• No file uploads (topic-only generation)
• No PDF, Word, or Google Forms export
• No Quiz Analytics

Student plan

• 25 quiz generations a month, up to 100 questions each
• 150 AI Tutor messages a month
• 20 Letter Wheel games a month
• File uploads (PDF, image, Word, YouTube, article URL)
• PDF, Word, and Google Forms export
• Quiz Analytics
• Up to 60 minutes a month of audio-lesson generation from your own material

When your quota resets

Monthly quotas reset at the start of each calendar month, not on your signup anniversary. Your dashboard shows how much of your current month's allowance you've used.

If you hit a limit mid-month

Generation, AI Tutor, and Letter Wheel requests are blocked once you've used the month's allowance, with a message telling you which limit you hit. You can either wait for the reset or upgrade — upgrading takes effect immediately, it isn't held until the next cycle.
