Tell the AI a little about yourself and it calibrates tone, and future quizzes lean toward reinforcing what you have gotten wrong before.
Two separate things feed into personalization: what you tell the AI about yourself directly, and what your own quiz history already shows.
Describing yourself
In settings, you can write a short free-text description of yourself — your level, what you're studying for, how you like things explained. This is used only to calibrate tone and framing on future quizzes; it never overrides factual accuracy or the difficulty and question types you actually asked for. Leaving it blank changes nothing about how quizzes are generated — it's purely additive.
Reinforcing your weak spots
Separately, and automatically, topics you've repeatedly gotten wrong (tracked via the Review Queue) can quietly influence new quiz generation on related subjects — the AI favors questions that reinforce a topic you're known to struggle with, without forcing an unrelated tie-in if the new material doesn't actually cover it. You don't configure this directly; it's a side effect of using the Review Queue and generating more quizzes over time.
Privacy
Your self-description and your weak-topic history are used only to shape questions generated for *you* — none of it is shown to anyone who takes a quiz you've shared, and it isn't used to personalize anyone else's quizzes.
