See each correction with an explanation, then copy the corrected text.
What you get
Corrections, not a rewrite
The checker fixes errors only. It does not restyle your sentences or change what you meant.
Every change explained
Each fix shows the wrong fragment, the corrected one, the type of error and a short reason.
Four kinds of error
Spelling, grammar, punctuation and word choice — labelled so you can see your patterns.
Full corrected text
Copy the whole corrected version in one go, paragraphs intact.
Works in your language
Text is checked in its own language, and explanations are written in it too.
What the grammar checker fixes
The checker is set up as a careful proofreader. It corrects spelling mistakes, grammar errors such as subject–verb agreement and tense, punctuation, and word-choice errors where a word is clearly wrong ("their" for "there", "affect" for "effect"). Sentences that are already correct are left exactly as you wrote them.
Alongside the corrected text you get a list of up to 40 changes. Each shows the original fragment, the fix, which kind of error it was and one sentence on why. An empty list means the checker found nothing to fix.
Why explanations matter
A checker that silently fixes your text helps one essay. A checker that tells you why helps every essay after it. Skim the change list for repeats — if half your corrections are comma splices or the same misspelling, that is the one thing to work on.
- Essays and coursework before you hand them in
- Emails, cover letters and applications
- Writing in a second language
- Teachers checking handouts and worksheets before printing
What it does not do
It does not judge your argument, restructure your paragraphs or make your writing sound more formal. For that, use the paraphrasing tool’s Fluent or Formal mode. And like any proofreader, it can miss an error or flag something that was intentional, so read the change list rather than accepting it blindly.
Tips for a cleaner check
Paste the final draft rather than a rough one. The checker fixes spelling, grammar, punctuation, agreement and clear word-choice mistakes and leaves the rest of your writing alone, so it is most useful once the content is settled.
Up to 12,000 characters of text, or a PDF, DOCX, DOC or TXT file up to 10 MB, can be checked in one run. The change list shows at most 40 corrections; for a long text with many errors, check it in parts so every change is explained.
- Read each explanation, not just the corrected text
- Look for the same mistake repeated — it is usually one rule to learn
- Keep deliberate style choices; the checker is told not to rewrite style
- Check names and technical terms, which can look like spelling errors
Example: what a correction looks like
Paste "Their going to the libary tomorow, and there teacher said its open late." and the corrected text comes back as one clean sentence, with a list of changes underneath. Each change shows the original fragment, the fix, a type such as spelling or grammar, and a one-sentence reason — for example that "their" shows possession while "they're" means "they are".
That list is the useful part for learning: after a few checks, the same few errors tend to show up, and you can fix them before you run the checker at all.

Does it work in languages other than English?
Yes. It keeps the language of your text and writes the explanations in that same language.
Will it change my writing style?
No. The checker is told to fix errors only and leave correct sentences untouched, so your tone, word choices and sentence structure stay yours. If you want the text reworded, use the paraphraser; if you want a stiff draft to sound more natural, use the humanizer.
