How it works
- 1. Open the quiz builder and pick the “Upload File” tab.
- 2. Drag and drop or browse to your .docx file (up to 10MB).
- 3. Configure: difficulty (Easy / Medium / Hard), number of questions (5–50), question types (MCQ / True-False / Short Answer).
- 4. Click Generate. Extraction and generation together typically take under 30 seconds.
- 5. Review every question. Edit, regenerate, or delete any item.

No special formatting is required — headers, bullet points, paragraphs, and tables all work. The one requirement: the text needs to be actual selectable text, not an embedded image of text (a scanned page pasted into a Word doc, for example, won't extract — use the image upload tool for that instead).
Why Word documents are a good source for quizzes
Unlike a static PDF, a Word document is a living file — the version teachers, trainers, and HR teams are usually still actively editing. That has a practical upside for quiz-making: when the source document updates (a revised policy, an updated lesson plan), you can re-upload the new version and regenerate the quiz to match, rather than maintaining the quiz and the source document as two separate things that drift out of sync over a semester or a policy cycle.
Tips for the best output
Use headings to mark sections
A document broken into clear headed sections (“Introduction,” “Safety Procedures,” “Summary”) helps the AI identify distinct topics and spread questions across the whole document rather than clustering around whichever section reads most densely.
One document, one focus
A document covering a single lesson or policy area produces tighter, more relevant questions than a combined document spanning several unrelated topics. Split a multi-topic document before uploading if you want a focused quiz on just one part.
Verify the answer key
